Another good day at the ITA National Championships

Our club always looks forward to the ITA National Championships in Limerick, and this year turned out to be yet another good performance for us.

The Patterns competition was packed and we unfortunately had to concede the gold in most categories. Shirley, Deirdre, and Cathy each earned themselves a Bronze medal. John however clinched the Gold in his IV Degree black belt patterns category!

Sparring went fairly well, and we witnessed some great performances today:

- Silver medal for Shirley who, as always, gave it her 100% on the mats.

- Gold medal for Cathy, with an accomplished performance in both of her fights!

- Bronze medal for John. Well done!

- Bronze medal for Deirdre! Nice performance with some lovely headshots along the way!
