The first competition of the Winter went extremely well for IFSC and we are very proud of all our members for showing such a high level of performance.

In patterns, our competitors demonstrated their technique brilliantly in several categories:

- Gold medal for John in IV Degree Patterns, with a sharp, focused performance in both rounds.

- Gold medal for Dahee in Yellow belt patterns, and Bronze for Janos in the same category! Sharp & powerful performance from our colour belts.

- Gold medal for Soukeina in Green belt patterns, with a very sharp & technical performance.

- Gold medal for Deirdre in Red belt patterns, and Bronze for Cathy in the same category!

Sparring also turned out excellent for our club, with several gold medals earned:

- Gold medal for Cathy in Red belt light sparring, and Silver for Shirley in the Heavy category. Both ladies had two good fights and performed strongly (as always!).

- Gold medal for Soukeina & Bronze for Dahee in Yellow & Green belt sparring!

- Gold medal for Deirdre in red belt light weight sparring.

- And, last but not least, Gold medal for John in the Black belt sparring. That was a hard-fought victory against some very determined opposition!

After a long day of patterns and fights, all competitors enjoyed a lovely meal in town!
