Wrapping up the season with the Master Douglas competition

The Master Douglas Tournament was a good opportunity for several of our members to test themselves in the ring, in both patterns and sparring. In addition to the senior colour belts, we also had convincing showings from our junior colour belts who made us very proud!

In terms of patterns, Tony scored Silver in a very big yellow belt pattern category, with a sharp, focused & technical performance! Also well done to Ramo & Quisha who showed lots of improvement

Several of our junior students were sparring for the first time, but that did not stop them from showing off their skills!

Remo clinched a Bronze medal in sparring, displaying lots of talent & a big promise for the future. It was Bronze for Quisha, with a very brave performance in her very first sparring competition.

Mikolay gave us an outstanding performance and earned himself a Gold medal in sparring. All the hard work is paying off!

We would also like to congratualte Lee who fought bravely but missed on a medal this time.

After the juniors's strong showing, it was up to our seniors to make us proud.

Patterns were all fought in large categories, with a Gold medal for Dahee and Silver for Soukeina in a very big Yellow & Green category. Beautiful performance by our ladies!

Deirdre went through five rounds and earned herself a Gold medal for her efforts, with Bronze going to Shirley in a big Red belt patterns category!

As for sparring, it was a Gold medal for Shirley in Red belt Heavy weight sparring, with a clever & high tempo performance!

Deirdre & Cathy fought in the same category and brought back a Gold medal for Deidre & Silver for Cathy!

Dahee & Soukeina were also grouped together, finishing the sparring rounds with a Silver medal for Dahee & Bronze for Soukeina!
